Anderson Asphalt & Concrete Paving serving Dallas – Fort Worth, Texas, was founded in 2008. We have been certified as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Council – Southwest since 2009. Pam Thompson, president and founder, is active in the Council, attending events, sponsoring programs and looking for opportunities to utilize other WBEs. The Women’s Business Council – Southwest is a regional affiliate of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs. Their mission is to fuel economic growth globally by identifying, certifying, and facilitating the development of women-owned businesses. WBENC Certification validates that a business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women. Their world-class certification standard is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations representing America's most prestigious brands, in addition to many states, cities and government entities.
